Hafer’s Guns is happy to host this one of a kind online program which meets and exceeds the requirements for the issuance of the Maryland Handgun Qualification License.
This program can be completed from the comfort of your home via computer or cell phone. A Zoom Meeting link will be sent to you at the time of registration. Simply attend the Zoom online class session, then come IN PERSON to Hafer’s Guns at 15411 National Pike in Hagerstown anytime between 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, June 11th to quickly complete your Live Fire requirement and obtain your LiveScan fingerprints.
Class is taught by Firearms instructor Tim Gargana and will be held online by ZOOM virtual meetings.
All materials, firearms and application assistance are included. Also Live Scan Fingerprinting will be arranged on the announced date. This program is truly a one stop, get it done option!

Handgun Mechanisms and Operations
The student will demonstrate safe operation and handling of a firearm with a live fire session conducted under direct supervision of instructor.
Live Scan fingerprinting will be available on site during the HQL program and assistance with the application process will also be provided.
All firearms, ammunition and safety equipment provided.
Cost is $75 for the class and $70 for the Fingerprinting
The Fee for the HQL to Maryland State Police is $50, which is paid online at the time of the application, after training is completed.
